Yikes! This morning the cold bit me like a pitbull locking onto....... you get the picture. I understand that there is a rule book published for Tent City con's. I've not seen it, however the rumor is this.... We will get a heater when the weather gets cold! I'm not sure what qualifies as cold to the stand up DO's or the guy that runs the tents (whom are always doing their job to the "T") but I think something as low as 43 degress is nippy! I'm no braniac, I wouldn't be in the tents if I was, so I asked a braniac what is considered to be freezing cold and they responded with:

Thanks for wanting to get the facts correct. Water freezes at 32 degreesFahrenheit and 0 degrees Celsius. (These are the same temperature on different scales.)

As I go along I will do my best to educate you on the vernacular of Tent City! So I will try to address every Word that may be vernacular. A Lizard is a female inmate in Tent City. I spoke with a lizard last night before entering into the tents and I asked her:

Is it true that you get into each others bunk to spoon & stay warm? I understand that there is no better heat than body heat but seriously I'd like to know. She let me know that that only happens in the Matrix (i'll explain this one later.) :) I know this didn't really give more than just a cheap lesbian reference to the tents but what the heck, I blog 'em as I see's 'em.
