Tent City

Hi,

I'm currently a resident of the infamous "TENT CITY", I will be blogging about the day to day activities as I see them. This is not politically motivated so don't expect me to champion any cause. However, I can reconsider for a nominal fee :)... I can't seem to breath at tent city without hearing the constant Ka..Ching, that comes out of my pockets everytime I step into the compound! Yup, that place is expensive! I'm not a guy that looks at the negative side of everything, the bright light in being there is the food is free. Heck, once you learn how control your gag reflex you can start to save on lunch and dinner costs!

If I seem incoherant it is from my lack of sleep! On occasion we get a wake up call to clean the restrooms. I don't mind helping out if I wasn't already forced to wake up at 9pm, & 12am everyday! Seriously, a 3am wakeup call to clean the john? That's not right! Not at all! This is why I'm Blogging! I can't complain so I guess I will write!!!!

A shout out to the DO's (Detention Officers), if your job is to forget that the people in the Tent's are human beings, then you are doing a great job!
